WebJul 16, 2013 · I tried it on my cast steel exhaust manifolds. (the chrome silver) Bead blasted pre heated in oven painted and installed. The paint peeled off soon after I started the engine. I did a second round and the same thing. Ended up using the Eastwood coating and it has held up great 20,000 mi. later. I have a feeling the POR 15 cast might be better ...
