My Sahara 3.6L w/3:45 gearing, and 1700 miles is already getting approx. 18 mpg around town, and on a 265 mile run last week (no mountains, in good weather) returned 24.5 mpg's. Speeds were between 55, and 70 mph most of the way. I'm averaging a little over 20 mpg overall.
WebI’ve been getting horrible gas mileage on mine too. Most of the time I’ve been getting from 16 to 24mpg. And I have it on econ 99% of the time and filling up with Costco premium. I was blaming the new engine at first too, but I already had mine for more than 3 months with 2000 miles already on it and still getting horrible mpg.
