WebJun 10, 2016 · I have to agree hard top all the way. I have has 2 hard tops and one soft top BMW. Hard top is more secure, more quiet, easier to care for. It does add to the weight of the care (why BMW is reportedly going away from it) and it eats up more trunk space. One of the main reasons I went with a 435 rather than a Boxster S is the hard top.
